EMERGENCY CALL BOX SOLUTIONS WITH LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ETHERNET FIBER OPTICS TRANSMISSION



DESCRIPTION

The FIBERGATE product range and the IPGate Call Box offer voice connectivity and supervision in infrastructure projects, where the communication is based on fiber optics, the system and communication redundancy are appreciated and the working environment is demanding (temperature range or solar cells power).

The elements that compose the solution are:

IPGate Call Box: Offers voice and data over IP communication with the control center.
FiberGate switch: High availability Ethernet switch with fiber optic ports, is used at the head of the ring composed by FiberGate Call Boxes. Controls the ring energy saving operating modes.
FiberGate Call Box: Offers voice over IP communication through any of its 2 fiber optics ports. Can optionally include a MPEG4 video encoding channel and 4 video inputs.


IPGATE CALL BOX

The IPGate Call Box is an electronic module that offers voice and data communication with the control center, using Ethernet and IP technology. The user and maintenance voice calls (generated pushing buttons connected to two different inputs) can be routed to different control centers, and two additional inputs are available for other uses.
It has pre-recorded audio messages (that can be customized) and tones (like the busy or call in progress tones) that offer accurate call progress information to the user.
The IPGate controls a single call box (no slave call box supported), and supports SIP (VoIP) and DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico) protocols.


FIBERGATE SWITCH

The FiberGate switch has been specially designed to build fiber optics redundant ring topologies. The elements of the ring can be either FiberGate switches or FiberGate Call Boxes. There are FiberGate switch high availability versions available and in any version can control the different ring states associated with energy savings when the FiberGate Call Boxes are powered with solar cells.
It also supports two different optional modules, one offering voice over IP and the other offering inputs and outputs to interface with other elements.


FIBERGATE CALL BOX

The FiberGate Call Box is an electronic module that offers audio communication and optionally video transmission to a control center, using Ethernet, fiber optics and IP technology. It has two fiber optics Ethernet ports, 2 audio channels (to control a master and a slave call boxes) and inputs to connect the necessary buttons and alarm sensors. It can operate with continous power supply or with solar cells and a battery. Several FiberGate Call Boxes can be interconnected in a ring topology with a FiberGate switch in the head of the ring offering connectivity to the rest of the network. When solar cells power is used the whole ring enters a low-consumption mode when there is no active call, controlled by the FiberGate switch. When a call is stablished, the ring is reactivated. It can optionally include a MPEG4 video encoding module and 4 video inputs, that offer video information to the operator when answering the call.
